The GERES Group offers a comprehensive range of services in the planning, construction, and operation of renewable energy plants. As a family-owned company since its founding in 1995, the GERES Group began under the leadership of Norbert Wiemann and Carmen Wiemann in Frankfurt am Main and has since become a pioneer in onshore wind project development in Germany.

From the very beginning, the GERES Group has adhered to a corporate philosophy that places the highest value on sustainable and high-quality project design. The focus is not only on safety and long-term planning security but also on ensuring that projects are compatible with the environment and society. Now successfully operating in the market for 30 years, the company is globally active, with offices in Germany as well as representations in the American market.

To date, the company has planned and secured approvals for wind energy projects in Germany with a total capacity of over 200 megawatts. In addition, it operates more than 150 megawatts of its own wind energy assets. In the photovoltaic sector, the company has successfully realized over 50 megawatts internationally.

Each year, the GERES Group feeds renewable energy into local grids, making a significant contribution to global climate protection. Through the realization of its projects, the transition to climate-neutral power generation is being advanced, while local communities also benefit significantly from financial returns. These returns are strengthened through participation models and long-term income from lease and tax revenues, supporting regional economies and enhancing the sustainability of local communities. With an additional 100 megawatts in development, the company continues to invest in a sustainable energy mix that both protects the environment and maximizes economic benefits at the local level.
