More than 200 megawatts planned and permitted

To date, the group of companies has planned wind energy projects with a total capacity of more than 200 megawatts in Germany and obtained the permits for them. It also operates its own wind turbines with a capacity of 166 megawatts. In the field of solar energy, the company has developed more than 50 megawatts internationally up to construction readiness.

Value creation stays in the region

Each year the GERES-Group feeds electricity from renewable sources into local grids and thereby makes a significant contribution to global climate protection. Realising its projects does not only advance the shift towards climate-neutral electricity generation. Local municipalities also benefit considerably from the financial returns. These are strengthened by participation models and by long-term lease and tax revenue, which supports the regional economy and makes municipalities more sustainable. With a further 150 megawatts in development, the company will continue to rely on a sustainable energy mix that both protects the environment and maximises economic benefit at local level.
