The GERES-Group is pleased to announce the successful extension of the Sitzerath wind farm through the installation and commissioning of a new Enercon E-82 wind turbine.
With this step we mark another milestone in sustainable energy supply and make a significant contribution to environmental protection.
The infrastructure for the Siesbach Süd wind farm is in place. Construction of the foundations for the three Enercon E-138 turbines starts in mid-October 2026.
Next to its own Breitenbich substation, the GERES-Group is planning a battery storage system with an output of 18 megawatts and a storage capacity of 40 megawatt hours.
In September 2026 the German Renewable Energy Federation published its Energiewenderechner, an energy transition calculator. The GERES-Group supported the project.
